biblio-valentine!

I threw my bugging hollow self away

As I fell in love with books yet again today

I remember, that hardbound classic seemed tempting
I Caressed the pages with my eyes, never blinking

All the world was sleeping like a baby
While I was saying yeah, wow and maybe

every breath for me,was refreshing, then on
'Coz i was into the finer things of life, head on

The blah blah blahs or the mighty serious works
Books are much more than a mere collection of words.

They are! even now, as I stay disconnected
From routine, the stuff has gotten me addicted.

While Enigma plays quietly in the background

To literature and couch my self is bound.

When there are chores waiting to be done
I reluctantly vacate my cherished position

Till the next date,love, tomorrow night
When the mundane in me again,takes flight!
